As i walked along the shore i spotted this old chain buried amonst the rock fill...

As there is no longer any access to the base of the dam wall we had to cut short the photoshoot and instead used the shaded park above the dam to relax and have some lunch.
One of the shade trees is a huge Fig tree that was in fruit...
The shrubs were on the last of their flowers ...
A Pied Butcherbird kept us company until it was time to head for home.
