The show day holiday seemed like a good opportunity to head back into brisbane and catch the City Cat to do the up river section to the University of Queensland and back.
While Ron did a few hours work Jo and i explored the river upstream from the CBD.
This is what we have been travelling on...
This is a very interesting building but i accentuated the colours ...
This skinny wedge of building reaches for the sky...
The river is a popular spot for all sorts of water craft ...
there was a lot less to see on this section of the river so we got off at the Uni for a look around.
"if i stretch a little bit more i think i can see out" ...
"OI !! ... this holes already taken" ...
"AND DON'T COME BACK EITHER !!" ...
"pssst, wanna know a secret?"...
The Eleanor Schonell bridge is the limit of the city cat service ...
A statue of Vladimir the great ...
We walked across the bridge ... to get to the other side?? ...
interesting bike rack ...
Coming back into the CBD we passed a few new bridges being built ...
After a Coffee we dropped in to city Hall for a look around ...
Then we headed up to Rons work to catch a lift home,
Thanks for another great day out Guys :)
