SeaWorld
I was up bright and early Sunday morning and Headed over to meet Jo and Ron along with their daughter Sarah and grandson Aaron at SeaWorld on the Gold Coast Australia.
I was looking forward to trying out the Pentax K20D but the bright cloudy sky made shooting conditions fairly poor.
Jo's sub second pose was not quick enough for me to point, lock AF and shoot ... or so she thought :)
One of the first attractions we visited was the underwater viewing of the Dugongs
You must have been at sea for a very long time to mistake these for a beautiful mermaid ;)
We then wandered over to the Polar bear exhibit ...
This shot was taken through the dirty glass wall.
How much can a Polar Bear??
I can't believe he cracked that old joke !!
We next visited Shark Bay and saw this girl enjoying the underwater experience... so far :)
dahdu ... daahdu ... do do do ... [plays Jaws theme]
Moving right along ...
We then walked over to dolphin cove to watch the kids interacting with the Dolphins...
We back tracked and passed this "Little Pied Cormorant" ...
The Sea Lion and Seals put on a show ...
Up to the other end of the park again to watch the Dolphin show...
Sarah couldn't resist shopping ...
Aaron seemed to be enjoying himself ...
The last show of the day was the water ski show, love the boat ...
this pic is from a 21 frame per second burst ... didn't think they would be this good ...
pretty sure they did this same stunt last time i was here ... 25 years ago ...
