Stayed on the banks of the Clarence river and awoke to a thick mist on the river next morning...

A very long single lane bridge crosses the river...

There were a few Fairy Wrens flitting about...

I wandered around town and passed a small church ...

Across the road was a memorial to the Australian Light Horse...

The Cemetery had a few unusual graves ...

Not sure what this "S" symbol means ...

The river valley spreads pretty wide...

On the way back home i stopped in at Bean Creek Falls for a look ...

The water has carved some interesting shapes in the rock slab above the falls ...

One of the pools held more than water ...

Then as it was getting darks i headed for home.

Met up with Geoff, Karen, John and Jason from the DigitalSLR forum for a Photoshoot at Cedar Falls ... the weather wasn't looking too good when i left home...

By the time i got to Cedar Falls it had cleared up into a nice day...

We then headed up to the Botanic Gardens for a look...

small Eastern Sedgefrog and a large thorny tree...

a heap of flowers...

Jason had to leave us and we followed Geoff on the Triumph Rocket III 2.3 Litre 3 cylinder bike up to a coffee shop for a well needed Cappucino...

After Coffee we headed to Curtis Falls passing this strangely rooted tree...

The hole in the Log looks like a man doing "star jumps" ...

It gets dark and cool down at ground level...

Curtis Falls...

we headed off down the creek following the loop track, you can see Curtis Falls in the distance ...

Fan

John helps Karen across the creek...

A small waterfall ...

Then the weather started getting dark again and we all headed for home ... thanks for the great day out guys :)
